The Wildcats come home this week for two more home games, one against Army and the other against in-state rival Utah.
Weber State is searching for its first win of the season after starting the season 0-3 with losses to three good teams—BYU, Boise State and 22nd-ranked Oklahoma State. With losses at BYU and at Oklahoma State, the Wildcats are looking forward to coming home for the week.
The Wildcats will host Army on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday night, at 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center.
Army comes into the game with 3-1 record following wins over Wagner and Farleigh Dickinson on the road and Penn at home. Each win has been by a margin of five points or less. The only loss on the Black Knights’ ledger is a 59-47 loss to St. Francis (NY).
Freshman forward Aimee Oerter is the Black Knights’ leading scorer, averaging 12.8 points per game. Right behind her is sophomore Olivia Schretzman who averages 11 points per game.
Two other Black Knights average in double-digits as well. Freshman guard Kelsey Minato averages 10.3 points per game and junior guard Jen Hazlett averages 10 points per game.
